okay so let's start with the big events that happened on Grey's Anatomy because this show is intense. it's so hardcore it can wring out the toughest emotions and make you cry like a baby or pump your fist for someones accomplishment or throw a brick at the tv out of frustration.
*boom*boom*boom*clap*
(im in love with this song)
- S1. An Outbreak of Syphilis Because People Have Too Much Sex
- S2. Denny Duquette Dies and A Shooter Hits Burke
- S3. A Ferry Crashes And Meredith Almost Drowns
- S3. Burke Leaves Christina At The Altar
- S4. A Meth Lab Explodes
- S5. Izzie Gets Cancer, George DIES Saving A Woman's Life
R.I.P George O'Malley
George's Death. That left me scarred. He was my favorite character because he tried the hardest, he put the most effort into researching each patient, he always tried to help everyone he possibly could, he always put other before himself, he was the sunshine at Seattle Grace Hospital. I got angry every time Karv or anybody else picked on him or saw him less than he was. I cheered him on the hardest when he fell in love with Izzie because i shipped that boat so hard I think I broke it.
And then one day, he goes home early to tell his mom that he has enlisted in the army as a trauma surgeon and he gets hit by a bus saving a woman's life. Agent 007 they used to call him. Yes in a way he was James Bond, and in that universe of Grey's Anatomy I was going to meet George and marry his fictional character and have little babies and buy a cute little house.... and then he dies. Do you see how fictional characters work? They make you fall in love with them and create this entirely other universe where they exist and then they die.
And then there's the mentally insane fictional characters that are already dead but we don't really seem to grasp the concept of that and fall in love with the twisted mind and the golden locks.
*Welcome to American Horror Story*
Evan Peters. Better known as Tate in Season 1 of American Horror Story. Where do I begin? You see, there's this famous Hollywood Home called the Murder House because everyone that has ever lived in that house or visited that house or has had anything to do with the house ~ except the real estate owner~ has been murdered. It's home for the famous murder of:
- the Black Dahlia
- scientist gone mad after his wife's baby has been cut to pieces
- the murder of the same scientist by his wife, the suicide of that lady
- man who murdered two nurses brutally
- lady who killed her maid for having an affair with her husband
- husband who murdered his wife and two kids so he could be with the lady who killed her maid
- that same lady who smothered her child
- son of that same lady who killed six high school teenagers and shot down by the swat team
- a gay couple strangled by ^ this kid P.S. The kid's already dead
Thing is, none of those people who were murdered ever left the house. And it wasn't until this new family moved in that things started to get out of hand~ which means at this point... it was really bad.
All the people living in that house wanted the baby that the mother was going to have. But the family was oblivious to the fact that the other people were dead except the for the lady living next door.
So this is basically how things go down:
- Crazy lady who killed herself in early 1900s wants a baby
- Tate rapes Violet's mother
- Violet's father thinks hes' Tate's psychologist
- Violet and Tate fall in love --------->
- Mom gets pregnant
- everyone wants that baby
- dad's crazy mistress is pregnant
- crazy guy kills mistress
- now she wants baby too (way to go dad.)
- we learn dead people's backstories
- Violet commits suicide but doesnt know shes dead
- Tate hides her body
- nobody notices she's dead because she doesn't even know it
- family gets visits and reenactments of dead people's past
- some side characters are killed (guy mistresses, robbers, etc.)
- Violet learns Tate's story
- mom gets sent to asylum
- Violet learns shes dead
- she has babies (twins but only Tate's baby survives)
- she dies
- dad finds out everyone is dead
- dead kill dad for baby
- family is happy for once, everyone together for eternity
- new couple moves in, they scare them out
- lady next door keeps baby
- baby is evil
*And that's what you missed on Glee*
I'm just kidding. This is American Horror Story, it only gets better from here. And the theme song? It was like this show was made for me, like I can watch it at two in the morning with the lights off and I wouldn't have a single nightmare (I'd still be scared of the dark, but that's normal). These feel like my people and boy do I fancy that Tate character, his mental instability is romanticized in the first season and i know i know "bad marcia", but I still have my guilty pleasures ;)
Was this too much like a powerpoint gone wrong? I had fun making it. So many intense moments, I almost went back to my old habit of biting my nails. Netflix is fun. It's like an adrenaline from all the drama and a high from all the season finales.
Now if only they would hurry up with Orange is the New Black's season premiere.
Sincerely, the Resilience of a Teenager
P.S. My psychology teacher is in love with show, he wanted to know what all the hype was about and he got hooked! One of us.... One of us... One of us....
P.P.S. (i think that's how that goes) so this is one of my favorite parts of the show: intern rules :3
